Software for the business you’re becoming.

An AI and software studio in Leeds. We help established UK businesses improve customer experiences, simplify internal work and create new digital products.

Why the studio exists

You work with the people building it.

Direct contact, progress updates and working versions to review, with responsibility through launch.

Founded in Leeds in 2015. Stuntrocket began with websites and identity work for small businesses. As clients needed more from their digital tools, the work grew into custom platforms, internal systems and products that use AI.

We stay involved from the first conversation through design, development and launch, sharing progress and asking for decisions as the work takes shape.

The studio runs on the same kind of software. Overnight errors are grouped and explained before anyone opens a laptop, Monday's summary is written while the office is shut, and a decision from a call is saved where every tool can find it again. See a working day.

Eleven years

The same studio, the whole way through.

Brand sites, custom platforms, products serving several businesses and practical AI tools. That experience sits behind everything we make now. The work archive has the projects along the way.

  1. 2015

    Studio founded

Brand sites and identities for our first clients in Leeds. Some of them still work with us today.

  2. 2017

    First custom platform

Custom web platforms join the websites and become a lasting part of the studio's work.

  3. 2022

    Sticky Piston scales

A platform serving several brands grows into busy daily use. The lessons still shape how we build.

  4. 2023

    AI work begins

Our first AI assistants go live inside client products and the tools we run ourselves.

  5. 2026

    AI sits alongside

AI reviews, pilot workflows and search over your own documents sit next to the website and app work.

Software that fits the business, not the reverse.

Important work spreads itself across systems that were never meant to hold it. We work out what should change, recommend the approach that fits, and build the thing that does the job.

What matters to us

Ambition needs good judgement.

Our job is to turn a worthwhile idea into software that can carry the business forward.

See the business behind the brief.

We begin with where the business wants to go. The right technology and shape of the project follow from that.

Make the idea real.

The result has to earn its place. We build a first version you can put in front of people, then grow it from what you learn.

See it through.

The thinking carries through the decisions, the working versions, the launch and what comes next.

Working with us

Regular updates and working versions to review.

Editorial illustration: chat, plan, ship, support.

You speak directly to the people doing the work, with progress updates and conversations when decisions are needed. A free 20-minute call helps us choose the next step. One problem that needs a closer look can have a paid Consultation, and projects that need investigation can begin with a paid project plan.

Who we work with

Who we’re right for, and who we’re not.

A good fit when

  • You run an established UK business, usually somewhere between five and five hundred people.
  • Something the business depends on has outgrown the tools it started with.
  • You want to talk to the people building it rather than an account manager.
  • You'd rather have a written plan and a fixed price than an open-ended arrangement.

Specialist work we refer

  • For mobile development or specialist governance advice, we recommend another team where we can.
