Bring the problem. We’ll work out what comes next.

Stuntrocket is an AI and software studio in Leeds. A project with us starts with a conversation about your business, not a technical brief. From the first call to the day the work is handed over, you'll know what we recommend, what it costs and what you'll have at the end of each stage.

The shape of a project

Every stage ends with something in your hands.

Understand, recommend, make, put it to work. The order never changes; the size of each stage does.

01 · Understand

We start with how things run now.

The first step is a free 20-minute call. You describe what's happening, what should improve and anything you already know about the constraints: budget, timing, systems that have to stay. We'll tell you on the call whether we can help and what a sensible next step looks like.

A clear brief may be ready for a quote. If the next step needs investigation, we agree a paid consultation or project plan before that work starts. You do not need to buy every step.

02 · Recommend

You get the recommendation in writing.

What should change, why it's the right change for this business, what it's likely to cost and the sensible first step, written down before any substantial work starts.

Where investigation is needed, the £750 paid project plan focuses on one problem or workflow. You receive an editable brief with the recommended scope, a diagram or rough sketches, risks and proposed stages. It's yours to keep or take to another developer.

03 · Make

You’ll see it working as we build it.

Concepts and drafts are shared early and developed together. You review working versions during the build, with opportunities to make decisions as the work takes shape.

You work directly with the people making it. We agree how to keep you updated and discuss decisions as they arise. Where AI is part of the work, we test it against your real examples before it goes anywhere near a customer.

04 · Put it to work

Launched, handed over, and looked after.

We put the work live and hand it over properly: the finished product, the source code, the key accounts and a written guide to running it, the AI instructions included. It belongs to you.

After launch we stay reachable. Every quote sets out the support included, and you choose what happens next: we look after it, your team runs it, or another supplier takes it over. A person at the studio stays responsible for the decisions that matter.

In their words

“I’m so glad we had Stuntrocket working on this with us. I don’t think it would have been possible otherwise.”

How projects begin

Know the cost before you commit.

These are alternative starting points, chosen around what you need. A straightforward brief may be ready for a quote after the free call; a project with more unknowns may need a paid plan.

Bespoke work is priced around its scope, complexity and the systems involved. We can propose smaller stages where useful, with the work and payment schedule agreed before you commit.

Choose the right first step
Free 20-minute call
Twenty minutes to discuss what you want to improve or create and agree the next step. A written project plan is a separate paid step.
£250 Consultation
A prepared hour on one problem, followed by written notes and a recommendation.
£750 paid project plan
A focused review of one project, an editable brief and a recommended first version. Includes a walkthrough and one round of clarification. A working prototype is a separate paid step.
When the £750 plan fee comes off your project

One fully paid plan earns a £750 credit against the final payment of the related implementation project. The project must include at least £7,500 of our work before the credit, excluding VAT and third-party costs.

Agree the scope, give signed acceptance and pay the deposit within ninety days of plan handover to secure the credit. The handover email includes the completed plan, offers a walkthrough and states the expiry date. The build can start later by agreement.

Your proposal shows the credit and payment schedule. Deposit and midpoint payments stay as quoted. Consultation, audit and prototype fees do not automatically qualify; credits do not accumulate.

If our quote is delayed, or we recommend a paid prototype before committing to the build, we agree an extension in writing.

Common questions

What people want to know
about how we work.

Not always. A clear brief may be ready for a quote after the free call. A focused AI question may suit the £250 consultation. The £750 plan helps when we need to investigate one project before recommending what to build.

A discovery conversation, a review of one workflow and an editable project brief. It covers the recommended first version, a diagram or rough sketches, assumptions, risks and proposed stages. We include a walkthrough and one round of clarification. A working prototype is a separate paid step.

Yes. The brief and agreed diagrams or sketches are yours to keep and share. They explain the recommendation and scope; another developer may need further design or technical investigation before building.

We provide a quote for the agreed stage before you commit. If a technical question needs investigation first, we explain and price that work separately. Your proposal sets out the work, assumptions and payment stages. Changes to scope, cost or timing are agreed before the extra work begins.

You'll see it early. We share working versions during the build, so a wrong turn shows up while it's still cheap to change, not at the end. Changes to scope, cost or timing are agreed before the extra work begins, and where AI is part of the work we test it against your real examples before it goes near a customer. After launch, every quote sets out the support included.

The work doesn't depend on us. At handover you get the finished product, the source code, the key accounts and a written guide to running it, so your own team or another supplier can take it on. If you stop working with us, you keep everything.
