Players could choose a different setup for a rented server. The application sent the request to Sticky Piston’s control software to carry out the change.
We developed a management application for Sticky Piston’s Minecraft hosting service, connecting game setups, server administration, player accounts and billing to the company’s server-control software.
This was a separate commission following the earlier MC Supercade trial prototype. Sticky Piston needed an application for managing trial servers and rented hosting, including the game setups available to players and the accounts and billing behind them.
Its own team developed the software controlling the servers. Our application provided the management interface and communicated with that software.

The application brought player management, orders and invoices alongside the hosting services they related to.
Administrators could send messages into Minecraft and inspect live server logs supplied by the control software.
Shared access supported groups using servers together, including teams collaborating on Minecraft maps.
The application brought the management side of the hosting service into one interface: accounts, billing, game choices and server activity.
It connected those controls to Sticky Piston’s server software. All the features described here were delivered; the application had not yet entered production at the time of this account.
