We designed and developed a website and kitchen configurator for Creative Design’s client Küchenmöbel, helping customers explore their choices online and with sales staff in stores.

The situation
What the client needed.
Küchenmöbel sold fitted kitchens with many combinations of layouts, colours and finishes. Customers needed to see how those choices looked together. Creative Design commissioned us to create a shared experience for the website and showroom iPads, so the same kitchen options could support browsing at home and a conversation with a salesperson.

Prepared images, responsive choices
Creative produced the kitchen images. We made the application display the matching image as each selection changed, showing the chosen combination immediately.

Showroom version
On iPads, the tool used less surrounding website navigation to keep attention on the kitchen during a sales conversation.

Pricing and enquiries
Customers could submit their selected configuration with pricing, giving the company a specific kitchen to discuss with them.
The result

Customers could see how the available options worked together before making an enquiry.
Sales staff could use the same choices alongside a customer on an iPad. The resulting enquiry carried the chosen kitchen and its price into the next conversation.
